Railway traffic at Debrecen, Hungary, filmed on 1 July 2025.
This video captures everyday train activity at one of Hungary’s most important railway hubs, with a special highlight being the presence of classic MÁV locomotives V43 and M41 Class 418.
Debrecen is one of the key railway centres in eastern Hungary, making it an excellent place to observe a varied mix of passenger traffic and traditional Hungarian traction. In this video, the focus is on the real station atmosphere as trains arrive, depart and pass through, while also showcasing two especially popular locomotive types among railway enthusiasts.
The V43 is one of the most iconic Hungarian electric locomotive classes, a long-standing symbol of MÁV passenger operation. Alongside it, the Class 418, also widely known as the M41, represents one of Hungary’s best-known diesel locomotives. Seeing both classes in the same video gives the recording extra appeal, combining classic electric and diesel traction at a major station.
Rather than focusing on just one single train, this video presents the broader atmosphere of Debrecen station on 1 July 2025, while making sure the V43 and 418 locomotives are among the standout highlights.
