Roots Reggae (1978) [Unreleased Album] RAS GIDEON – Hear My Cry Father

RAS GIDEON – Hear My Cry Father [Unreleased 1978 Album] Roots Reggae | Rastafari | Lost Tapes Hear My Cry Father by *Ras Gideon* is a fictional lost 1978 Jamaican roots reggae album inspired by prayer, hardship, faith, and the heartfelt cry of a people seeking guidance from the Most High. Built on deep basslines, heavy one-drop rhythms, Nyabinghi drums, conscious Rastafari lyrics, soulful harmonies, and warm vintage production, this rare forgotten recording carries the spiritual depth of classic Jamaican roots reggae. Ras Gideon tells stories of loneliness, struggle, poverty, temptation, and the search for strength when the road becomes difficult. Through heartfelt songs of prayer and devotion, the album reminds the listener to seek Jah in times of trouble, remain humble, and hold firmly to faith even when answers seem far away. The sound carries rolling bass grooves, skanking guitar, hand percussion, echoing vocals, mellow organ chords, and dusty analog tape textures. Each track feels like a forgotten Jamaican studio session recovered from an old archive, preserving the raw warmth and emotional spirit of roots reggae's golden era. When the heart grows heavy, lift your voice and let your prayer rise. Jah hears the humble cry, strengthens the weary, and guides those who continue walking in faith. *One love, one heart, one Jah.* #rootsreggae #reggaemusic #dubreggae #rastafari #classic #reggaevibes #rootsandculture #reggaeclassic #realreggae #jamaicanmusic #reggaelovers #onelove *Keyword Tags:* roots reggae 1970s, dub reggae, reggae songs in the 70s, old reggae songs, reggae songs in the 90s, unreleased reggae albums, rare reggae vinyl, reggae classics, rastafari music, conscious reggae, Jamaican roots music, reggae culture, Nyabinghi drums, reggae meditation, rebel reggae sound, lost reggae tapes, reggae full albums, vintage reggae records, reggae storytelling, reggae archive, spiritual reggae chants, roots reggae playlist, deep roots reggae
