Roots Reggae (1986) [Unreleased Album] JAH SHILOH – God Above Babylon

JAH SHILOH – God Above Babylon [Unreleased 1986 Album] Roots Reggae | Rastafari | Lost Tapes Step into the deep spiritual sound of *1980s Jamaican roots reggae* with *God Above Babylon*, a rare and fictional unreleased album by **Jah Shiloh**, recorded in Jamaica in 1986. Built around deep basslines, heavy one-drop rhythms, Nyabinghi drums, soulful harmonies, and conscious Rastafari-inspired lyrics, this forgotten roots reggae collection carries a message of faith, divine authority, righteousness, and hope beyond the powers of Babylon. Jah Shiloh delivers a powerful spiritual testimony through this imagined lost Jamaican roots recording. God Above Babylon reminds the listener that earthly power is temporary while faith, truth, and righteousness endure. The album explores oppression, corruption, perseverance, prayer, and the strength found in trusting God through difficult times. The sound carries the raw warmth of a forgotten Jamaican studio session—thundering bass grooves, skanking guitar, echoing percussion, warm organ chords, Nyabinghi hand drums, and rich vocal harmonies surrounded by the natural hiss of aged magnetic tape. Its rugged production creates the atmosphere of a lost roots reggae treasure recovered from an old Kingston archive. God Above Babylon is a declaration of faith in the face of darkness. Babylon may rise with its walls and powers, but the spirit that walks in truth remains unshaken. *One love, one heart, one Jah.* #rootsreggae #reggaemusic #dubreggae #rastafari #classic #reggaevibes #rootsandculture #reggaeclassic #realreggae #jamaicanmusic #reggaelovers #onelove *Keyword Tags:* roots reggae 1970s, dub reggae, reggae songs in the 70s, old reggae songs, reggae songs in the 90s, unreleased reggae albums, rare reggae vinyl, reggae classics, rastafari music, conscious reggae, Jamaican roots music, reggae culture, Nyabinghi drums, reggae meditation, rebel reggae sound, lost reggae tapes, reggae full albums, vintage reggae records, reggae storytelling, reggae archive, spiritual reggae chants, roots reggae playlist, deep roots reggae
