Shringi Rishi Ashram Sihava Parvat Dhamtari Chhattisgarh || Origin Of Mahanadi River हमारा देश भारत सदियों से ऋषि मुनियों का देश रहा है। पहले के युगों में भारत के जंगलों और पहाड़ो में विश्व शांति और हित के लिए ऋषि मुनि सदियों तक तप किया करते थे। आज हम आपको एक ऐसे ही तपस्वी ऋषि के बारे में बताने जा रहे है जिनका वर्णन रामायण ग्रंथ एवं अन्य धार्मिक ग्रंथों में बार बार आता है। इस ऋषि का रामायण में इतना महत्व है कि इनके बिना रामायण प्रारंभ ही नही होता। जी हां साथियों अपने सही समझा हम बात कर रहे है कश्यप ऋषि के पौत्र और विभंडक ऋषि के पुत्र श्रृंगी ऋषि जी का, जिनके कारण ही राजा दसरथ को और हमारे देश को मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम श्रीराम प्राप्त हुए। इनको लेकर कई अलग अलग किवदंती, जनश्रुति और पौराणिक कथा प्रचलित है परन्तु एक कथा जो सभी मानते है और रामायण में भी वर्णित है वो यह है कि अयोध्या के राजा दशरथ के कोई सन्तान नहीं हो रही थी। उन्होने अपनी चिन्ता महर्षि वशिष्ठ से कह सुनाई। महर्षि वशिष्ठ ने श्रृंगी ऋषि के द्वारा अश्वमेध तथा पुत्रेष्ठीकामना यज्ञ करवाने का सुझाव दिया। दशरथ नंगे पैर उस आश्रम में गयें थे। तरह-तरह से उन्होंने महर्षि श्रृंगी की बन्दना की। ऋषि को उन पर तरस आ गया। महर्षि वशिष्ठ की सलाह को मानते हुए वह यज्ञ का पुरोहिताई करने को तैयार हो गये। और यज्ञ सम्पन्न कर राजा दशरथ के घर प्रभु श्रीराम, लक्ष्मण, भरत और सत्रुघ्न पुत्र रूप में जन्म लिए। इसलिए श्रृंगी ऋषि का महत्व रामायण में सबसे ऊंचा माना जाता है। श्रृंगी ऋषि सप्त ऋषियों में से एक है बल्कि यह कहना गलत नही होगा कि वे सप्त ऋषियों में सबसे प्रमुख ऋषि है। एक और कथा के अनुसार छत्तीसगढ़ की जीवनदायनी नदी की उत्पत्ति भी श्रृंगी ऋषि के कारण ही सम्भव हो पाया है जिसे हम आपको हमारे अगले एपिसोड में बताने वाले है। Our country India has been a country of sage monks for centuries. Today we are going to tell you about one such ascetic sage, whose description appears repeatedly in the Ramayana Granth and other religious texts. This sage has so much importance in Ramayana that Ramayana would not have started without him. Yes friends, I think we are talking about Kashyap Rishi's grandson and son of Vibhandak Rishi, Shringi Rishi Ji, due to which King Dasrath and our country got Maryada Purushottam Shriram. Many different legends, popular stories and mythology are prevalent about them, but one story which everyone believes and is also mentioned in Ramayana is that there were no children of King Dasharatha of Ayodhya. He told his concern to Maharishi Vasishta. Maharishi Vashistha suggested to perform Ashwamedha and Putreshthikamna Yagya by Shringi Rishi. Dasaratha sang barefoot in that ashram. In many ways, he stopped the Maharishi Shringi. Rishi felt pity for them. Accepting the advice of Maharishi Vasistha, he agreed to offer the sacrifice. After completing the yajna, Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Satrughna were born as sons of King Dasharatha. Hence the importance of Shringi Rishi is considered to be the highest in Ramayana. Shringi Rishi is one of the Sapt Rishis, but it would not be wrong to say that he is the most prominent Rishi among the Sapt Rishis. According to another legend, the origin of the life-giving river of Chhattisgarh has also been possible due to Shringi Rishi, which we are going to tell you in our next episode.
