The wildest, most chaotic start to a brand new road trip series from Hyderabad down to the hidden, offbeat corners of Kodaikanal! 🌧️🚗⛰️ This journey almost ended before it even began. Arriving at the Lingampally Railway Station completely drenched in a heavy downpour, I was seconds away from missing the train to Bangalore - saved only by a fortunate delay! After making it to Bangalore, Ranjan and I head straight to Hennur, Hoskote to review the legendary Mallika Dum Biryani. From there, we regroup at Satyam's society (MRKR Mera Homes in Whitefield) to kick off the ultimate driving adventure to Poondi alongside Soumitra, who is joining the vlog for the very first time! Navigating the intense Bangalore traffic, we hit the highway by 7:30 PM, racing down to Salem to pick up Sameer. At midnight, we pull over at a highway dhaba in Velayuthampalayam for an unforgettable feast: authentic chicken biryani brought fresh from the iconic Selvi Mess (Attur Road, Salem). By 5:30 AM, the plains disappear as we wind up the ghats, stopping at the misty Silver Cascade Falls for hot tea, revisiting memories at Kookal Lake, and ending the episode lost in the poondi hills trying to locate our remote stay near Polur Village!
