ACTIONS
sunny → make a big sun with both arms in a circle above your head
cloudy → flutter your hands above your head like clouds
snowing → wiggle your fingers as they float down
raining / pouring with rain → drum your fingers down like rain
sunscreen → rub your cheeks and nose
coat → pull on a coat and zip it up
umbrella → hold an imaginary umbrella above your head
Is it gonna rain? → shade your eyes and look up at the sky
HOW TO USE IT IN CLASS
Verses 1-2: the lead voice asks, the children's choir echoes. The wheel spins while the question is sung, so the class shouts the answer before the pointer lands.
Chorus: one word per beat. Do the action on every word: the video grows a flower, a cloud or a snowman piece for each one you sing.
Verses 3-4: mime putting on the sunscreen, the coat and the umbrella. The friends in the video have learned it by the last chorus.
Test it: after three plays, can the class answer "How's the weather?" with the music off?
