Using about 3,200 photographs taken from the International Space Station by Chris Williams last January 17, we created this #timelapse. This is a long night flyover of the #ISS, from the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Ireland to the Indian Ocean, near the Seychelles. During the journey, you will see illuminated Europe (with Italy's unmistakable silhouette), as well as locations in North-Eastern Africa. As a bonus, the video begins with a striking aurora borealis in the distance. The video covers a 30-minute time span and is therefore sped up about 6 times compared to the actual speed of the Station. ---------------- The AstronautiCAST YouTube channel is run by passionate volunteers on an unpaid basis.
