Nigeria's Vice President Kashim Shettima has called for small business owners to have a stronger voice in government policymaking and economic decisions. Speaking at an MSME stakeholders' meeting in Abuja, Shettima directed the expansion of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises forum and ordered quarterly engagements to improve cooperation between government institutions and business owners. He said each meeting must review previous decisions to strengthen accountability and support enterprise growth.
