DJI Action 5 Pro in Low Light | An Evening Walk on Norway’s Coast

After a full day of rain, a break in the weather was all the encouragement I needed to head outside. Join me for a quiet evening walk along Bybergstranda on Norway’s beautiful Jæren coast, shortly before sunset on a late August evening. There are few things I find more beautiful than heavy clouds hanging over the flat Jæren landscape. The wide horizons, changing light and open sea make this a place I never get tired of exploring. This time, there’s no big adventure planned—just a little fresh air, a camera and a stroll along the beach. The lighting that evening was challenging. Heavy, almost black clouds left the landscape in soft, subdued light, and with sunset approaching, this walk also became a real-world test of the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro’s low-light capabilities. How well would this little action camera capture the scenery and atmosphere as the light faded? Jæren is a region in southwestern Norway known for its open farmland, long beaches and big skies. The Jæren beaches, collectively known as Jærstrendene, stretch along roughly 70 kilometres of coastline, with sandy shores, dunes, pebble beaches and rocky stretches facing the open sea.
