Kiukainen. half-barrier device Eura

In English: Filmed at April 18, 2010. If you're driving through Kiukainen village in Eura, you'll very likely face this type of level crossing in there. It's crossed by Kokemäki-Rauma railway and It's been equipped with a half-barrier device and pedestrians's throughout-barriers, which was installed here somewhere in mid-1990's to replace original half-barrier device from 1970's. This level crossing is quite busy when it comes to both rail and road traffic. Because passenger traffic was discontinued at Kokemäki-Rauma railway in May 1988, the rail traffic is consisting of only daily driven freight trains most of the time.
