Abstract Art & Color Mixing | Creating Layered Gelli Prints

Join me in the studio for a relaxed exploration of abstract art, acrylic color mixing and layered Gelli Plate printing. I begin by exploring what happens when warm colors meet with a dark Green — mixing orange and Phthalo Green, then adding white and yellow and then following the colors in different directions. From there, color mixing and Gelli Plate printing become one continuous creative process. I look at each print, decide what color or layer it needs next, mix that color, print again, and see where the image takes me.
