Advanced Acrylic Color Mixing | Exploring Color with Artist Anna Budin

Some of the most beautiful colors are the ones you don't expect to find. In this video, I experiment with different reds, greens, oranges, and white to create a whole range of beautiful color variations. You’ll see how changing just one color can lead to completely different results, and how these mixes come together in layered Gelli plate prints. This is a more intuitive approach to acrylic color mixing: rather than following fixed color recipes, I experiment with proportions and observe how the colors change as I mix them. I’m interested in what happens when colors are pushed warmer or cooler, lighter or darker, and how different mixtures work together in an abstract painting or Gelli print.
