Walls Removed: How God Collapses Impossible Strongholds (Joshua 6)

Do you have areas in your life where the barriers seem too high or too thick to overcome ? Following up on focusing on the battle, this video examines how God completely removes the impossible "walls" in our lives through the story of Jericho in Joshua 6:1-27 . In this explainer, we explore: The Impossible Barrier: Jericho's fortifications towered 46 to 50 feet high with walls so wide that chariot races were held on top and homes were built directly into them . Humanly speaking, penetrating the city was impossible . Commissioned from Above: Before the battle, Joshua met the Commander of the Lord’s Army with a drawn sword, learning that walking with God turns where we stand into holy ground and requires taking orders directly from above . Unusual Marching Orders: Even though Jericho was securely barred and terrified , God gave Israel unexpected instructions: march in complete silence once a day for six days, following seven priests blowing shofars with the Ark of the Covenant set half a mile ahead . The Power of the Shofar & Silence: The sound of the shofar causes confusion in the enemy's camp and clears the air around us, while silent obedience forces us to listen to God rather than the logic of the world . Completion & The Victory Shout: On the seventh day—representing divine completion—the Israelites marched seven times, blew the trumpets, and gave a loud shout, causing the massive walls to collapse completely into the ground . Grace Amid Judgment: The only portion of the wall left standing was Rahab’s house, protecting her family and preserving her place in the family line of King David . God's Deliverance vs. Man's Effort: We compare human attempts to dismantle strongholds—like the Berlin Wall, which took 14 years to fortify and over two years to fully demolish—with God's power to instantly remove obstacles when we surrender them to Him . Stop trying to dismantle your obstacles alone . It's time to stop just marching around your problems, give a victory shout, and watch your walls be removed !
