Donington Park Testing | Highlights & Pure Sound | V8 Supercar Onboard, Aston GT2 & more! | 6/10/26

One of the last Donington Park test days to round out the year now, and probably one of the last with decent weather. Valley Motorsport supplied a rebuilt former Tour de France Porsche 911 3.0 RSR for James Thorpe along with the 1994 Bathurst 1000 ENZED Holden Commodore he intends to share with Phil Keen which also featured the onboard camera and an unsilenced set of exhausts on the big V8 engine. Always nice to bump into these chaps, they're very accomodating and they might as well live here too! Moto Historics also lined up alongside with the ex JMW Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2 that Rob Bell and Darren Turner shared in the 2010 Le Mans Series An impressive pair of McLaren MP4-12C GT3 cars appeared, formerly ran by the Gemballa tuning empire in 2012 as well as an ex Oreca Audi R8 LMS. One Alan Mann Racing liveried AMR Shelby Cobra Daytona made an appearance and from a similar era so did the Hall and Hall prepped McLaren M10B F5000 car, which incredibly marks the second F5000 car we have seen this year that once found itself in the Mallory Park lake! A handful of GB4 and GB3 cars marked what was a relatively light day, and who could forget the Radical test cars that once again showed up (they're based on site afterall), one of which is possibly running an EcoBoost turbo, the other I have no idea.
