❄️ Let Pigment Paint the Landscape | Painting a Winter Road Beneath a Stormy Sky Come spend some quiet painting time with me as I paint a winter road leading toward a distant farmhouse beneath a large, brooding sky. No talking — just watercolor, music, and the painting gradually taking shape. 🎨 For this one, I wanted the sky to carry most of the drama, while the snow-covered road leads the eye gently into the distance. I kept the landscape itself fairly simple and let the darker cloud shapes, soft winter colour and open snow do most of the storytelling. As with the other paintings in my Let Pigment Paint the Landscape series, I tried to let the washes mingle and do some of the work for me rather than controlling every passage.
