**NOT FOR BROADCAST** Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. brett@livestormsmedia.com On October 10, 2026, at approximately 3:20 PM, a tornado struck portions of Screven County, Georgia, near Newington and Sylvania, causing significant damage to multiple properties. I captured footage of the tornado before arriving at a heavily damaged residence at 6674 Old Savannah Highway in Sylvania. I was the first to reach the home, where three occupants were inside, including two trapped in a bedroom. I entered the damaged structure to assist, and several bystanders subsequently joined the rescue effort. Together, we were able to free the two trapped occupants. After assisting with the rescue, I checked another nearby residence before continuing to document storm damage, including a damaged farm property at 637 Middleground Church Road. Footage includes the tornado itself, audio recorded during the initial rescue as I entered the home, and damage to both properties.
