At Sai University’s Third Convocation 2026, Dr. K. P. Krishnan, Governing Board Member, Sai University, reflected on the leadership journey of Padma Bhushan Shri Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons. Drawing from his own experience of serving with Shri Chandrasekaran on the board of Tata Consumer Products Limited, Dr. Krishnan spoke about the importance of principled governance, honesty, integrity and speaking truth to power. He also reminded the graduating students that extraordinary careers often begin in ordinary circumstances. Recalling Shri Chandrasekaran’s early professional years, he highlighted the hard work, discipline and humility that shaped his journey from a young TCS professional to one of India’s most respected business leaders.
