Wainwright bagging again. Drive up to Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District, four Wainwrights hiked, three I've done before and one new one. Started at Revelin Moss car park, so I could hike early and beat the weekend crowds, Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre car park only opens at 830am and gets very busy. Paths straight forward to follow, though boggy in places. Graystones has two summits - One is the official highest point at 456m, with the Wainwright summit being the lower one at 454m - you go over a flattened wall to a cairn which marks it and the views open up all around you. Stunning views, from Graystones you could see across the Solway Firth into Scotland and the mountains around Dumfries and Galloway. Lords Seat 552m Broom Fell 510m Graystones 450m ✅️ Barf 469m 140/214 Wainwright's completed now.
