Painting a hidden creek in Red Rock Canyon - Plein Air

I packed up my gear and hiked deep into Red Rock Canyon, looking for a scene with some fall color and water, as it had rained recently. What I discovered was a creek with running water, warm sandstone boulders, and pockets of fall color glowing against the red rock. It was too good not to paint. In this video, I take you along on the hike, set up right beside the water, and paint the scene from start to finish.
