Over 30,000 Gen-Z youths took to the streets in support of the government and CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
more than 30,000 people—including a large number of young men and women—participated in a 'Jan Jagaran Sammelan' (public awareness rally) in Nalbari, Assam for a 'Special Intensive Revision' (SIR) of the voter list every five years and criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over controversies regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and demands for a return to ballot paper voting. Participants at the event expressed support for BJP-led governments, citing employment, development, and the protection of Assam's cultural identity. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi continues to demand the resignations of Gyanesh Kumar, PM Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah; notably, however, he has not sought the resignation of Angomcha Bimol Akoijam—a JNU professor and Congress Lok Sabha MP—despite serious allegations of against him and his dismissal from JNU. It is also worth noting that the people of Delhi are deeply frustrated by the protests organized by the Congress and CJP; with Diwali approaching and Navratri already underway, traders are unable to open their shops due to the demonstrations, resulting in losses amounting to crores.
