Hunting For Sri Lanka’s Tastiest Street Food 🇱🇰

In this video I hit the streets of Colombo, Sri Lanka after dark to hunt for the best street food the country has to offer. I head straight to Aluthkade, a buzzing food street that comes alive after 7pm, packed with vendors and sizzling grills. I kick things off with one of my favourites: an egg hopper. This time I go for a twist, cheese inside, and it’s absolute gooey perfection. Next, I stop by a popular stall grilling chicken over charcoal. I grab a portion served with fresh roti and take a seat to dig in. Needing something to wash it down, I check out a vendor offering a "one shot challenge," a quick-drink gimmick that’s good fun. Craving something sweet, I grab some gulab jamun, my all-time favourite, then finish the night with a falooda from a different stall. A proper night of flavours, energy and good food.
