FROM SLAVE TO SHIPMASTER — Nasturi Ephrenia & Corvus Corax | Warhammer 30K

Before the Raven Lord, before the XIX Legion, before the black banners of the Raven Guard — there was a boy who called himself Nineteen. And there was a girl who told him her name. On the prison moon of Lycaeus, Nasturi Ephrenia lived beneath the rule of cruel overseers. When one of them turned his violence upon her, a pale, black-eyed boy intervened. He would become Corvus Corax. She would never forget who he had been before. Nasturi joined the struggle to liberate Lycaeus. Years later, she would stand upon the command bridge of the Raven Guard battle barge Avenger, no longer a slave beneath a whip, but a shipmaster giving orders among the stars. To the Imperium, Corax was a Primarch. To his Legion, he was the Raven Lord. To Nasturi, he was someone she had known long before either title existed. BEFORE THEY CALLED YOU RAVEN is a cinematic melodic metal song told from Nasturi Ephrenia's perspective — a story of liberation, loyalty, shared history, and the humanity that even a Primarch might need someone to remember. "You stood for me when no one dared. I learned to stand there too." Inspired by the Warhammer 30K / Horus Heresy universe and the writings of Gav Thorpe.
