Greenhouse Base Pt 1

Welcome to the Hordon Homestead. We are Helen & Jeff and are based in the rolling countryside of Northumberland in the UK (growing zone 8b/7a), and in the spring of 2025 we started our journey of growing our own vegetables in our "Homestead Garden". Watch as we grow and cook our food We are gradually expanding the homestead garden and trialling new veg, fruit and methods so you can watch us as we create raised beds, a cold frame and sew seeds over the coming seasons. Today’s video is about the new greenhouse, and clearing the garden and preparing the base. It forms part of a new mini series we are recording of the entire build.
