Sikkim - The State India Doesn't Deserve?

Here's the Episode 1 of the Soulful Sikkim series. The journey starts with the flight from Delhi to Bagdogra, followed by the shared cab ride up from Bagdogra to Gangtok. Gangtok completely resets your expectations of what an Indian city looks like. There is a strict no-honking rule, the streets are completely clean, and the civic sense here feels unlike most other parts of India. To explore the capital on Day 1, I picked up a scooty rental in Gangtok to figure out the steep mountain switchbacks and map out a local sightseeing route. In this video, I’m riding through the city to check out the real-world conditions at Tsuglakhang Monastery, the Orchidarium Garden, and Enchey Monastery, before hitting the Himalayan lookout at Tashi View Point. To finish the first day, I visited the famous MG Marg to check out the local food and the best cafes of Gangtok. The series is just starting.
