Not allowed to leave until the list is shorter

I set myself one strict rule today: I wasn't allowed to leave the plot until the list was shorter. There are always grand plans on the plot, but the reality of gardening is that most of your time is spent cleaning, weeding, and doing the maintenance jobs that keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list. Between using the drone to get the new raised beds lined up straight (using a drone as a spirit level might be overkill, but squint raised beds annoy me), finally getting Colin’s rose into the ground after a year of neglect, battling the leaf blower, and rescuing what is left of the leeks and squash, we actually managed to make a proper dent. Grab a cuppa and come keep me company for a day of getting things sorted on the plot.
