The Castellows Homecoming (unreleased) at Tulips in Fort Worth, Texas on April 11, 2024

This is a fun audience participation number too with the crowd coached to sing along to the chorus. 0:00:00 Introduction / Chorus sing-along practice 0:01:56 Homecoming ‪@thecastellows‬ acoustic set on this tour included some great unreleased originals (like Miss America, Sheltered, and this one Homecoming) as well as covers of Emmylou Harris' Red Dirt Girl (the most popular posting!), The (Dixie) Chicks' Travelling Soldier and Bruce Springsteen's I'm on Fire. I made a playlist of the 'unplugged' sets for y'all here:    • The Castellows Acoustic Sets on Headlining...   The ladies changed the acoustic set songs on different nights to keep it fresh but Homecoming was the consistent acoustic set closer. The boys join in at the end on drums, electric guitar, fiddle and bass at the end as the song picks up - so by the end its not really unplugged :) Pretty close though! Great harmonies from the gals on this one!!! As always. PPS - I do love the banter between songs. My favourite concerts/performers have included Jann Arden ‪@JannArdenOfficial‬ and The Barenaked Ladies ‪@barenakedladies‬ (*all fully-clothed men BTW*), who put on a comedy show between songs, really connecting with the audience. Lily comments that sometimes its a comedy show for them and you never know what you are going to get. I like that!
