Manor Lords Compact Town Challenge - Tent to Large Town

Can you build a Manor Lords Large Town without letting the settlement sprawl across the region? In this Tent to Town challenge, we're attempting to create an unusually compact Manor Lords town while still meeting everything needed to reach the Large Town settlement level. Starting with little more than tents and a rather ambitious road layout, we squeeze burgage plots, markets, industry, livestock and storage into as small a footprint as practical. Along the way there are food shortages, an emergency beetroot delivery, a growing quarry industry, expensive quantities of ale and the increasingly frantic business of pushing our burgage plots all the way to Level 4. Rather than simply building outwards whenever we need more workers or resources, the aim is to grow upwards through upgrades and make every bit of space earn its keep.
