Driving China–North Korea Border 4K HDR - One River, Two Worlds | Dandong Facing Sinuiju

On this trip, we’ll follow the Yalu River along the border between China and North Korea. Starting near the New Yalu River Bridge, we’ll drive through Dandong before continuing along G331 National Highway toward Xiahekou Village. One of the most fascinating parts of this journey is the view of two cities facing each other across the river. Dandong, on the Chinese side, and Sinuiju, on the North Korean side, sit just across the water from one another. This drive offers a unique perspective on the geography of the border, with major bridges, historic landmarks, busy riverside streets, and glimpses of everyday life along the river. As we continue along the Yalu River, the scenery opens up to winding riverbanks, rolling hills, green countryside, and small riverside villages.
