“I’m Getting Cooked” || A Friendly Debate (feat. Restored Truth & LDScooby)

Rest in peace, Chuck. A Trinitarian joins the panel to challenge the LDS understanding of the Godhead. We start with John 1:1 and the Greek, then move into consubstantiality, the creator–creature distinction, the hypostatic union, divine nature, and what exactly makes the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit “one.” Eventually we get to a pretty basic question: What actually distinguishes one divine person from another? After struggling to define essence and personhood, he gives one of my favorite lines yet: “Bro, let me just hop off this. I'm getting cooked. GG's.” But then he actually comes back for more. By the end, rather than pretending to have answers he doesn't have, he admits “More things I gotta get educated on. I'll be back one day.” And I respect that. Disagreement doesn't have to mean hostility.
