Compilation of my UV-MAX demos for Stardate 20X6. In this video I cheese every hard fight, every easy fight, and do questionable strategies... Timestamps: 0:00 Map 01 - Amethyst II 8:32 Map 02 - Mud Bunny 24:44 Map 03 - Foxhole 43:42 Map 04 - Tanagra 1:03:45 Map 05 - Sector 8 1:21:59 Map 06 - Vehelits 1:55:34 Map 07 - Magnus 2:30:54 Map 31 - Hyperspace Notes: Map 01 There is something seriously wrong with the MIDI version of Satellite One...the melody line just doesn't have the write notes, and it's as if it's split into 3 or 4 uncoordinated voices instead of being continuous. The arpeggio voice at the key change straight up plays out of key notes, and inconsistently so. The second and sixth instances of the downward arpeggio have wrong notes in different spots from each other, but all the notes are correct in the fourth and eighth instances. Bizarre At 6:35 I thought I was missing a secret for some reason. Map 02 10:11 Why do this? How about, why not do this? 10:33 Cheeeese. This one fails a lot due to revenants distracting the vile used for the jump. I also turned music off so I could hear when the vile starts his attack 17:03 Realized I hadn't kill the guys up time and tried to leave. Made killing them slightly awkward 23:11 For-fun glide #2. You can actually get back to the start by using the blue armor elevator, so this is unnecessary 23:45 What is bro doing Map 03 39:20 Scary! Map 04 52:54 Way too stingy with rockets in this fight and almost died. Also should have been looking at the clock instead of going for the exit button whenever 54:11 Awful 57:20 Small cheese, but I messed it up by falling down 58:37 Small cheese with elevator to prevent vile from waking up 59:12 Aaaaawful fight 1:03:12 Terribly stingy, I could have used 30 extra rockets elsewhere Map 05 I start with some pacifist herding to move hell nobles away from the vile and toward the cyber before they spawn Blue key fight ASAP 1:14:40 I go into the ditch in the middle so that mancs behind me shoot downwards and into the wall Map 06 Goal here is, as usual, get to the hard scary end fight ASAP then go back and clean up 1:34:37 Just leave. This requires decent cyberdemon infighting RNG when going for the second button and decent monster movement RNG when going for and away from the red key. If you are too slow, revenants spawn near the red key and block you 1:35:21 Just leave gone wrong 1:45:22 Yellow key platforming line ups 1:46:10 SR50 lineup from outside of the room. This is to make the platforming easier, not to skip the hell knights 1:46:52 SR40 lineup from inside the room 1:47:27 I use the mastermind to distract the cybers so I can just leave 1:48:38 Bad Map 07 2:01:11 I was supposed to trigger the cacos and pinkies before this fight so they were in position once I came back. Since I forgot to, I went back at 2:02:06 and waited for a bit 2:09:30 New cheese? The revenants don't attack you by the elevator since they're in chase range, and you can go down the elevator to prevent them from hitting you before they get into position. I keep going down the elevator out of paranoia but it might not be necessary. This will fail miserably if the cyber gets stuck and gets punched to death too soon. At that point you can repeatedly go up the elevator, damage the revs, then jump back down, but it takes forever 2:13:59 Strategically placing corpses 2:20:03 Didn't figure out the cheese, so I do this fight normally. Idea is to move the revs and mancs out as much as possible before waking anything else up. Most dangerous part is pushing through the mancs on the first and/or second horseshoes 2:27:19 The idea here is to stack 3 BFG shots on top of each other. I shoot toward the edge of the map at :X0.00, turn a bit, shoot at :X2.0, then shoot at :X4.5 and run out as far as I safely can. I'm not sure if all 3 shots hit as I fired an extra shot at the end, but 5 viles died which is quite good. Was not expecting to come out with as much health as I had. Having the extra mega saved the run 2:28:04 Didn't figure out the full cheese, but I did figure out the half cheese. I hit the button at :X0.0 and know to get in position about 38 seconds later 2:28:50 I got too greedy trying to get the rightmost cyberdemon to infight 2:28:53 close call! I got hit and picked the mega up on the same tic Map 31 2:33:09 EZ after the previous map Source port (demo): Woof! 15.3.0 Source port (video): DSDA-Doom 0.29.4 Thanks to cryoniq for the -viddump guide
