Final Fight 3 is one of the most fascinating scrolling beat 'em up games ever created when it comes to hidden gameplay possibilities. In most games of this genre, enemy characters and bosses are programmed as game objects rather than true playable characters, making them impossible to control properly even with memory editing or other external methods. Part 2 :    • Final Fight 3 (SNES) – Play as The Bosses ...   This project explores what happens when those limitations are pushed beyond their intended design. Rather than being a simple boss demonstration, this is a comprehensive gameplay showcase and technical exploration of every playable boss found in the original European (PAL) version of Final Fight 3 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Every boss has been tested individually to document their attacks, movesets, unique behaviors, AI interactions, limitations, glitches, and hidden gameplay possibilities. Unlike earlier explorations of playable bosses, this project goes much further by showing expanded functionality. Several bosses can perform not only their signature special attacks, but also additional combat techniques after compatible movesets are assigned, allowing far more complete gameplay than normally expected. Of course, because these characters were never intended to be playable, many strange behaviors, graphical glitches, movement issues and occasional crashes still remain, making the entire experience both fascinating and unpredictable. Throughout this showcase you will see: • Black's expanded combat abilities, including multiple signature attacks and unique boss behaviors. • Dave using far more than his well-known Jumping Slam, including additional combat actions and enemy interactions. • Callman's powerful Shoulder Barge attacks, command grabs, automatic evasive movements and bonus Callman vs. Callman battle. • Caine's impressive long-range spanner attacks, barrage attacks and grappling abilities. • Wong's rolling attacks and unique movement characteristics. • Drake's different gameplay states with and without his anchor, additional attacks after moveset changes, bonus Drake vs. Drake battle, and several unusual gameplay glitches. • Stray's jumping attacks, rushing attacks and bonus appearance during Drake's showcase, including one of the funniest engine glitches where the bulldozer enemy unexpectedly flies through the stage while attempting to attack. Every section was recorded separately through extensive testing and then carefully assembled into one complete project. Because this research was captured across multiple recording sessions, some clips required separate conversion during editing. As a result, a few scenes may have slight aspect ratio differences. Thank you for your understanding. This is NOT a modified ROM. Everything shown in this video was explored using the original Final Fight 3 PAL release together with its built-in Debug Mode features and additional memory exploration techniques. The purpose of this project is to document the game's hidden behavior, engine quirks and playable boss mechanics while preserving one of the most unusual discoveries within Final Fight 3. Additional Notes Every boss featured in this project was tested individually to explore their attacks, movement, AI behavior, hidden mechanics and gameplay limitations. Along the way, several bonus encounters, unexpected glitches and amusing engine quirks were also preserved to document how the original Final Fight 3 (SNES PAL) behaves when its bosses are placed under player control. Since this project was recorded across multiple sessions, a few clips were converted separately during editing, which may result in slight aspect ratio differences in some scenes. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you enjoy this unique boss showcase!
