Poisoned by Friends? What Mwende's Friend Says Happened at That Mombasa Birthday Party

Rose Mwende went to sleep at her own birthday celebration on Valentine's Day. Nine months later she is bedridden and unable to speak, and online people are saying one thing: don't trust your friends, because your friends poisoned her. Citizen TV told the family's story. Then a video went round of a friend giving a different version of that night. We play part of it, and we ask the question that's still open: why only her? None of this has been confirmed. The doctor treating her says her symptoms could be consistent with substances like lead or zinc, the friend's account is only her account, and the family is struggling with the cost of her care. Our thoughts are with Rose and her family. Also on this episode: ⚖️ Lawyer Abshir Abdi's abduction takes a new turn: two friends who were in his car are now reported missing 🎥 The CCTV, the court, and why in Kasongo times every disappearance raises the same question 🏢 Eastleigh, 14 days later: eight dead, and "who is in custody?" 🕊️ Life is so random: she went to buy curtains 🏟️ Ngotho on KTN: the Ajax ticket price, school uniform and what one has to do with the other ⚽ Why we should stop downplaying sports The clips are from Citizen TV, KTN and social media; the claims in them are the claims of those speaking, and the rest is my opinion.
