Absolutely. I’d punch up the rhythm and contrast without turning it into slogan soup.
Description
Just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean you’re called to build your life around it.
And that distinction matters more than most people realize.
A lot of us have been taught to chase every strength, pursue every opportunity, and ask how every talent can become something bigger — or profitable.
But ability is not the same thing as assignment.
You can be excellent at something and still not be called to pursue it.
You can have a real gift and still be meant to use it only in certain seasons, for certain people, or in ways that never become your career.
That is where a lot of confusion starts.
In this video, I’m talking about the difference between what you can do and what you’re actually called to do — because when you confuse the two, you can spend years pouring energy into something that was never supposed to become your main focus.
Some gifts are meant to serve.
Some are meant to help.
Some are meant to bring joy.
Some are meant for a season.
And some are meant to become part of your life’s work.
The real challenge is learning the difference.
If you’ve been trying to sort through your gifts, opportunities, interests, and sense of purpose, this conversation may help you stop asking only, “What am I good at?” and start asking the deeper question:
“What am I actually called to do?”
