Turning Scrap 2x4's into Fall Crafts | Fall Craft Day

We’re putting scrap wood to work at Thorns and Thistles! Join me in the shop as I turn leftover 2x4 cutoffs into wooden pumpkins and make some fall decor for our farm stand. Along the way, I make wooden candy corn and turn two walnut bud vases on the lathe. There’s a little sanding, routing, gluing, painting, and distressing—all part of getting these handmade pieces ready for fall. The pumpkin design isn’t mine.
