You Need These Herb Salts for Your Halloween Dinner Party

If you're hosting anything this Halloween, herb salts might be the easiest impressive thing you can make with stuff already growing in your garden. I spent an afternoon dehydrating and blending my way through three different blends, and only two survived to tell the story. My blender staged a bit of a revolt halfway through the first batch, so that one's on hold until I replace it, but the spicy Italian and the bird brine blend made it out just fine. Each jar gets its own little tag I made, front side for the name, back side explaining exactly what's in it, because a gift like this is more fun when you know what you're actually putting on your food.
