Tales of Volterra: Remembrance (Byleth's Theme) Byleth Sylvalum. Mender, brother, friend. He is a reserved man of many talents with an unexpected eye for adventure. Though his time with those he travels with began with trepidation and distrust, his skills and mannerisms have opened doors to newfound relationships. Originally on a quest to discover what happened to his sister, Byleth now finds himself on a path that involves machinations much grander than what he bargained for. Will it be fruitful or mere folly? "Remembrance (Byleth's Theme)" was commissioned by the creator and player of the character. The work relies heavily on the violin and the lyre as both of these instruments are played by Byleth and his lost sister. Earlier days are reflected within Byleth's mind as his somber violin dances through the air, upheld by memories of his sister's plucked refrains. The project "Tales of Volterra" is a collection of original music composed to accompany a Dungeons and Dragons campaign using Volterra as the setting. Each region and city has its own set of unique qualities, so I wanted to capture those feelings with a soundtrack of their own. Thanks for listening!
