Nuremberg Day 93 (1946) Paul Otto Schmidt Cross Sir David Maxwell-Fyfe

On March 28, 1946, Sir David Maxwell-Fyfe, British Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trial, cross-examined Dr. Paul Otto Schmidt, acted as an interpreter in important foreign office conferences. He was a Ribbentrop witness. He testified concerning Lebensraum strategy. He also authored the minutes where Ribbentrop stated that the "Jews must either be exterminated or taken to concentration camps.There is no other possibility."
