LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WELCOME, BILLS FANS!!! 💙🏈❤️🏈💙🏈❤️🏈💙 Hello, and welcome, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Buffalo Bills Open Practice! This event took place on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, and it took place at none other than the brand spanking new HIGHMARK STADIUM 🏟️ in Orchard Park, New York! I cannot even begin to describe the feeling that was inside that building! Going to see the Buffalo Bills before the 2026 Inaugural Season for the stadium was set to begin! Now, I only had the opportunity to go to games at the old Ralph Wilson Stadium across the street maybe. . . Two? Three times in my life? I can’t remember. But you want to know something? It was time. I loved the Ralph. . . Some knew it as “Rich Stadium”. But looking at how everything in the NFL was going and their host cities, the writing was indeed on the wall. And I cannot believe that my folks and I got the chance, along with countless other Bills fans, to see the practice in the new stadium. Just the outer facade of the building was simply stunning. It’s new, it’s splendid, it’s superb. It’s a building that shouts “THE BUFFALO BILLS HAVE ENTERED THE 21ST CENTURY!!!”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 All jokes and humor aside, this building will be one of the most up-to-date and finest buildings in the league for at least a few years now. And seeing that, while it may be downsized from the capacity of the Ralph Wilson Stadium, the accommodations and facilities will be most welcoming to the public. Fans from far and wide will be dying to get in these doors and see the venue. I will always miss the old stadium. It’s something that generations of my family grew up with. And I’m sure countless football fans, either from Buffalo or other football cities, can share their stories from their time there as well. But, in spite of it being a landmark, the time did indeed come to see a new facade be constructed. And folks, the time has come. Speaking of time, the practice was one of the best I have ever witnessed. And seeing how much excitement there was just for the practice itself, it really makes you wonder how much this cornucopia of joy will ROAR with the screams, shouts, and laughter of thousands of members of the Bills Mafia when the season begins.
