Capcom Is Currently Running Circles Around The Industry

Onimusha: Way of the Sword sold over a million copies on its first day, and that's a series that hadn't had a proper new game since 2006. It's also the third Capcom release to land this year, after Resident Evil Requiem in February and the brand new IP Pragmata in April. So while layoffs keep piling up, studios keep closing and publishers keep telling us that big budget games don't work anymore, Capcom is posting record profits for the ninth year in a row.
