[20 PUMP FIRE!] On scene footage of large warehouse fire in Rainham - LFB

Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters have been tackling a fire at a warehouse on New Road in Rainham. Most of the warehouse was alight. There are currently no reports of any injuries. The fire produced a significant amount of smoke and local residents were advised to keep their windows and doors closed while the incident was ongoing. New Road remains closed and people are advised to continue to avoid the area. One of the Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene as a water tower to help fight the fire from above. The Brigade's Drone Team were deployed to offer the Incident Commander an aerial view of the fire. A scientific advisor was also mobilised to monitor air quality in the area. Control Officers received the first of 27 calls at 1021 and mobilised crews from Wennington, Dagenham, Barking and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1410.
