The Day of Reckoning is Near | Where Winds Meet - “Pre-Revenge” Qianye BEATDOWN (No HUD Cinema)

In anticipation of the upcoming revenge fight against Qianye I decided to pay her a visit and give her a good beatdown with the gauntlets, absolute cinema style 🤛 😐 🤜! I got this run about two weeks ago but was sitting on it until it got closer to the update. I honestly would’ve liked to have this out a day or two earlier but also wanted to finish up my Stellar Blade videos first. As for the fight itself this is another No HUD fight I actively tried going for hitless on as I’ve only done so one other time with Mo Blade. Even with the game’s current bosses though I still think Qianye is one of the harder bosses to get a perfect run on. In phase 1 she has that ridiculous reaction check attack (that I somehow parried here at 1:11) which is literally the ONLY reason I play this phase a bit more passively. In phase 2 most of the difficulty comes from the white Qianye phase, specifically the teleporting scythe combo. As much as I like this attack the hitboxes for it can be a bit inconsistent at times. There are actually 5 hits in this combo, 2 in the first teleport, 2 in the second and 1 in the 3rd but for some reason you only tend to parry 1 hit from the first two teleports. I also felt like I was having more trouble doing this with gauntlets which is why I would switch to rope dart to parry this attack. Sure enough, once I did it was more consistent to parry which sort of reinforces my belief that gauntlets may have a smaller hitbox than other weapons when parrying. With all that said I still think Qianye is a great fight even if she has now been dethroned by more current bosses. I’m so hyped to be able to fight her again but I’ll need to savor it as she’s unfortunately NOT available to rematch in trials 😭 #wherewindsmeet
