🙏 Welcome to Day 3 of the Novena to Our Lady of Vailankanni. In this homily, the priest invites us to reflect on a profound Christian truth: Our bodies belong to God. St. Paul reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our bodies are not something to be treated carelessly or simply according to the standards of the world. They are precious gifts entrusted to us by God. If our bodies belong to God, then we are called to keep them holy. What does this mean? 🌿 Respect your body. 🙏 Care for your health. ❤️ Protect your dignity. 🕊️ Guard your purity. ✨ Avoid what harms your body, mind, and spirit. ✝️ Use your life to glorify God. Holiness is not only about what happens inside a church. It is also about how we live in our bodies every day. What we see. What we hear. What we think. What we desire. How we speak. How we treat ourselves. How we treat the bodies and dignity of others. God does not ask us to reject our bodies. He invites us to recognize their sacred dignity. Our bodies can become instruments of: ❤️ Love 🤝 Service 🙏 Compassion 🕊️ Prayer 🌍 Goodness As we celebrate the Third Day of the Novena to Our Lady of Vailankanni, let us ask Mary to help us live with greater respect for the gift of life and the body God has entrusted to us. Mary's own life teaches us what it means to make ourselves completely available to God. 🌹 Our Lady of Good Health, help us to respect, care for, and keep our bodies holy. 🕊️ Holy Spirit, dwell within us and guide us in everything we do. May this novena help us grow in holiness, self-discipline, purity, gratitude, and love for God. Let us remember: My body is a gift from God. My life belongs to God. Therefore, I am called to glorify God with my whole being. 🙏 Our Lady of Vailankanni, pray for us.
