Digging a New Don River

Excavation on a new river as part of Port Land Flood Protection is well underway! In this video, we explain how we’re excavating 1.4 million cubic metres of soil to create a kilometre-long extension of the Don River and a natural river mouth, or outlet, into Lake Ontario.
