🚗 Join us for a drive and walk through Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs! Today we begin our journey in Hughesdale, Melbourne, taking a relaxing drive through the local streets before arriving at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve in Murrumbeena. Once we arrive, we leave the car behind and explore the reserve on foot, taking a look around the outdoor gym and fitness equipment, athletics track, sporting grounds and netball courts, while enjoying another slice of everyday suburban Melbourne. 🌳 About Duncan Mackinnon Reserve Located on the corner of North and Murrumbeena Roads, Duncan Mackinnon Reserve is one of the City of Glen Eira’s major sporting and recreation precincts. It features an IAAF-compliant athletics track, 10 competition netball courts, two sporting fields, an outdoor fitness station and a 1.2 km walking track around the perimeter. The outdoor gym is particularly impressive, with equipment including exercise bikes, arm bikes, pull-up and dip bars, monkey bars, sit-up and decline benches, battle ropes, jumping boxes and other strength and fitness equipment. The reserve is used by local sporting clubs and the wider community for athletics, netball, football, cricket, walking, exercise and recreation.
