Police escort the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery down one of London's busy shopping roads.

Metropolitan Police traffic bikes escorted the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery from Regent's Park Barracks to Hyde Park, where they fired a gun salute in London to mark Accession Day. Accession Day occurred on 8 September 2022, when Prince Charles was proclaimed King Charles III following the death of his mother, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In our worship, we give thanks for King Charles’s reign and remember Queen Elizabeth’s remarkable life and witness on the anniversary of her death.
