2 independent fall protection systems, 1 rope, 1 V 24 anchor

After installing a V-24 permanent life safety anchor, I tie 2 figure 8 knots (with slack in between) and use 5,000 pound rated sewn webbing and triact-locking carabiners to make 2 independent fall protection systems that attach to a single V-24. Note: The users of this technique need to utilize 900 pound load limiting lanyards to keep the (2 times the maximum applied load) force less than 5,000 pounds that the anchor is required to support. Also note that the webbing is NOT in a choker position which would decrease its rating, but instead in a loop position that brings its breaking strength near 10,000 pounds. Also note: This technique must only be used under the supervision of a qualified person.
