Vimy Ridge: Aerial Photos, Billy Bishop, and Vimy Flight's Centennial Tribute

From tens of thousands of reconnaissance photos to the peril of Bloody April, discover the little-known aerial story behind the Canadian Corps’ breakthrough. Step inside the open-cockpit Newports, meet the Vimy Flight team, and follow their improbable journey as the RCAF loads delicate replica biplanes into a Globemaster bound for France. Stand on the ridge where Billy Bishop hunted, descend into the chalk tunnels etched with names, and witness an emotional first flyover that left modern pilots speechless. Experience the precision, risk, and reverence that brought a century-old salute back to life. Watch to see how formation discipline, ground crew grit, and a nation’s memory came together over Vimy — without us giving away the most powerful moments.
