For many Cambodian Americans growing up in the 80s and 90s, freestyle music was more than just music. It was part of our childhood, our teenage years, our first loves, and the memories we made at house parties, school dances, and family gatherings. From Long Beach to Cambodian communities across America, these classic sounds remind us of a generation that grew up balancing two cultures while creating memories of our own. 🇰🇭 Why I Created This Khmer Version I wanted to bring back that nostalgic feeling while introducing a beautiful classic to a new generation through the Khmer language. ❤️ A Special Note About This Release Some of you may remember that I previously uploaded a Khmer version of “Angel Baby.” As I continue learning and improving my music production and editing skills, I felt this song deserved another chance. This updated version reflects how much I’ve grown creatively, with improvements to the vocals, arrangement, mixing, and overall sound. I’m still learning, still creating, and always working to make each release better than the last. The original upload may eventually be removed as this newer version takes its place.
