PSALMS FOR SLEEP 🌙 DAVID SANG THIS EVERY NIGHT TO FALL ASLEEP | 4 Hours of Quiet Bedtime Psalms

Psalms for sleep, sung softly over the harp, are gathered here for the quiet hours when you lay your head down and place the night in God's hands. These original songs paraphrase the Psalms, from 'I will both lay me down in peace' in Psalm 4 to the watchmen waiting for the morning in Psalm 130, and offer them back to you as gentle bedtime prayer. 🕊️ Warm tenor and baritone voices lead each song in slow, flowing phrases, sometimes answered by a tender alto, with soft cello, low strings, felt piano and on some songs a small, hushed choir, while the harp stays in the foreground throughout. These Psalms for sleep move slowly and have no percussion, so you can let your breathing settle and your thoughts grow still. If your heart is anxious or weary, the night feels long or you simply want to end the day in prayer, you're welcome to rest here in the presence of God. Let these Psalms for sleep carry you from evening prayer into deep rest, trusting that darkness and light are both alike to Him. Whatever tradition you call home, we pray these Psalms for sleep bring you peace through the night. #psalms #psalmsforsleep #sleep #bedtimeprayer #worship #scripture #kingdavid #harp #peace #prayer #sungpsalms
