We Spent a Week in Rio: Samba, Flamengos Football Match, Favela Tour, Stolen Phone

We spent a week in Rio and did as much as we could. Rio is crazy and such an amazing city. It was Eden’s first time and Adam’s second. We climbed Christ the Redeemer, went to samba bars, partied at Ipanema, did a favela tour, went to the football, hit the beaches and ate so much good food. Eden loved the samba bars and Adam’s favourite was the food, hanging on the beach and drinking caipirinhas. We mention our favourite food spot in Santa Teresa in the video. We stayed at Castelo dos Tucanos in Santa Teresa. We loved our hostel and met so many great people, and the private rooms are worth it. Next time we’d stay in Ipanema though. Rio isn’t for everyone but we loved it. Eden managed to get her phone stolen and a few thousand dollars taken and still enjoyed herself.
